Film Submissions

The Carmel Art and Film Festival officially opens film submissions for 2012 on March 1st. We are looking for great independent films in four categories: narrative feature, documentary, short, and student. The Carmel and Art and Film Festival will accept submissions through August 1, 2011 (late submissions will be accepted but they cost more!) All accepted films will be notified by the beginning of September. All submissions are eligible for the Clint Eastwood Filmmakers Award, given each year to the filmmaker who Clint and Dina think best exemplifies an extraordinary commitment to the craft.
